London’s Famous Black Cab Company Is Now Making Electric Camper Vans
Share
The e-Camper is the first electric camper van from LEVC, and it makes for an attractive prospect for any #vanlifers who are looking to reduce their carbon footprint. The van has an electric-only range of 60 miles, which increases to 304 miles when used in conjunction with the gas-powered range extender. The van sleeps a total of four adults: two in the double bed that converts from the rear bench seat and two more in the pop-up roof. And thanks to its electric kitchenette, the e-camper can function in a true zero-emissions mode at the campsite, reducing its carbon footprint to essentially zero. Proprietary gear racks mean you won’t have to leave your mountain bike or surfboard behind, and the van’s styling recalls LEVC’s current-gen electric taxis. The e-Camper will go on sale in late 2021 from £62,250 (~$86,380), and you can register your interest now at LEVC’s website.
